About Marianne Leuzinger-Bohleber

Marianne Leuzinger-Bohleber is a training analyst in the German Psychoanalytical Association, former Chair of the Research Subcommittees for Conceptual Research, and a member of the Swiss Psychoanalytical Society. She is Vice Chair of the Research Board of the International Psychoanalytical Association, Visiting Professor at the University College London and member of “Action Group” of “Society for Neuropsychoanalysis”.  Full Professor for Psychoanalysis at the University of Kassel  and head Director of the Sigmund Freud Institute, Frankfurt/Main.

Her research fields are clinical and  empirical   researches in psychoanalysis, psychoanalytical developmental research, prevention studies, interdisciplinary dialogue between psychoanalysis and literature, educational sciences, Embodied Cognitive Science and the neurosciences.

Marianne Leuzinger-Bohleber is a winner of The Sigourney Award in 2016.

She is a frequent speaker and a lecturer  across Europe.  Marianne has published widely with over 340 articles, 16 monographs and 35 edited books.
