About René Roussillon
Rene Roussillon is a full member of the Société psychanalytique de Paris and director of the department of clinical psychology at the University of Lumiere in Lyon 2 and also president of the psychoanalysis group in Lyon.
The work of Rene Roussillon contributed to the development of modern psychoanalytic thought, especially in the study of narcissistic pathologies.
Rene Roussillon is the author of books such as “Primitive Agony and Symbolization” “Paradoxes and borderline situations in psychoanalysis” (1991), In addition I he published important works: Logic and archeology of psychoanalysis (1995), Agony, Fragmentation and symbolization (1995), Transition, sexual and reflective (2002), Birth of an object (2010), Guide to clinical practice in psychology and psychopathology (2012), Pleasure and repetition, theory of the psychic process ( 2002)
Rene Roussillon received awards:
• 1992 Morris Bouvet award for “Situations Bordering Psychoanalysis”
• The Sigourney award for his contribution to psychoanalysis
